E' stata progettata per non deludere le attese dei gamer più esigenti la nuova soluzione di fascia alta PowerColor DEVIL 13 HD6970 2GB GDDR5 (part number: AX6970 2GBD5-A), una video card di cui TUL Corporation esalta le doti non soltanto ambito HD, ma anche e soprattutto in quello dei giochi DirectX 11 di nuova generazione e dell'HD3D.
La PowerColor DEVIL 13 HD6970 2GB GDDR5 può lavorare in due diverse modalità dal punto di vista della frequenza operativa del core grafico e della memoria on board: mediante uno switch hardware, infatti, il gamer può passare agevolmente dalla modalità predefinita, o "Default Mode", in corrispondenza della quale il core e la RAM (2GB di G-DDR5) operano a 880MHz e 1375MHz rispettivamente, alla modalità overclocked, o "Overclocked Mode" appunto, in cui le frequenze in gioco crescono del 10% (960MHz per il core della GPU e 1425MHz per la VRAM).
La stabilità della scheda è assicurata dall'equipaggiamento della stessa con l'ausilio di componenti elettronici discreti di elevata qualità; il VRM, ad esempio, è a 12 fasi.
Il cooler della card è di tipo dual-fan; ciascuna delle due ventole da 80mm di cui dispone è in grado di offrire una efficienza superiore rispetto alle soluzioni convenzionali. Infine, sono quattro le heat pipe da 8mm che guidano il calore dal basamento in rame al lato del dissipatore esposto alle ventole.
La PowerColor DEVIL 13 HD6970 2GB GDDR5 include un connettore di uscita dual-link DVI-I, uno single-link DVI-D, uno HDMI e due mini-DisplayPort.
